Located in the town of Lake Hughes, in the foothills of the Angeles National
Forest, The Painted Turtle rests in a scenic valley bordered by beautiful,
tree-adorned hills, complete with tranquil lakes, magical hiking trails,
and the sounds and sights of nature. On a 173-acre site, the Camp offers the healing and restorative power of a recreational and therapeutic
program as well as 24-hour medical care.
We are grateful to Richard Meier and Partners, Architects for their remarkable commitment and talent in designing our camp. They have helped us to build an extraordinary home for our programs and our campers.
